If you stop losing weight even though you’re doing everything right, it’s time to reevaluate your lifestyle and habits. Maybe it’s time for a change in routine: try walking more often or getting more sun each day.

To break through your weight loss plateau, you should experiment with how many calories you consume. If you’ve been consuming 2,000 calories per day and suddenly drop your calorie intake to 1,600 a day, you’re going to see some results. A quick drop in caloric intake can work wonders.

Alternatively, if you eat 3 meals per day at 500 calories each and realize that’s not enough food for your body to perform at its best—then ramp up your food consumption by 30% over two weeks. You’ll be surprised how much of an impact these small changes can have on your metabolism. Experimentation is key!

One thing to keep in mind is not to go too low on calories as this can suppress your metabolism.

Try New Recipes

It’s easy to stick with eating roughly the same foods, day in and day out. While that can be good for saving time in your busy schedule, it isn’t so good for your fat loss efforts.
