What is it?

Alpha-linolenic acid is an essential omega-3 fatty acid, and it is essential because we need to obtain it from our diet. We need omega-3s for the normal growth and development of our body.

Some early research suggests that alpha-linolenic acid may reduce the risk of heart disease by regulating heart rhythm and heart pumping as well as reduce the risk of blood clots. It is certainly a healthier option to saturated fats which are harmful to our health.
